I thought this book was just okay, but it had a lot of potential. It actually started out really interesting and was about someone in a karate class, and their relationship with their sensei. But as the book ended, it had one of those "What the heck?" moments when you don't understand why the character did what he did, then the book ended. It was an unsatisfactory ending. I think if the ending was changed and flushed out, it could have been a good book. I found myself wondering more about the relationship between the student and the sensei.Product details

The Stoat edition by Inge Moore Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
Nothing beats a short story where speculation abounds despite a most satisfying conclusion. That is precisely what Inge Moore has delivered with THE STOAT and her Karate student's understandable pathos.
A Writer's Digest Winner, it goes without saying this book is well written. It also has value. A modern moral is embedded in the seamless writing. Teens will care that the character is likable and the story is well told. Their parents will like the message. This is a great story and a fun read.
